Darkness falls & I look up,

What I see , What I cannot see.

Shadows, the omnipresence of mother moon, and the unknown.

A view all too familiar.

What lies beyond my peripheral…. What can I not perceive….?

Well the brightest stars can’t be seen from where I’m standing, but they exist.

Am I as barren as the limbs around me or mutable through the air…?

Maybe this vastness expands through me..

Something all together different from what I know,

Is out there.
