OVERLAPPING
People might try to compartmentalize time, moments,
or processes,
saying here leads to here or this leads to that,
but it’s in an overlap where we are caught –
that ripple of one happening reaches out from a core
and meets the center of another
reaching out.
The past and future may meet us in that overlap of
concentric folds simultaneously extending
inward and outward
providing a terrain of where we may “be”.
