OVERLAPPING
People might try to compartmentalize time, moments,
or processes,
saying here leads to there or this leads to that,
but it’s in an overlap where we are caught–
the ripple of one happening reaches out from a core
and meets the center of another
reaching out.
The past and future may meet us in that overlap of
concentric folds simultaneously extending
inward and outward
providing a terrain of where we may “be”.
